My name is Mariana, and I’m so happy you’re here. I’m the baker behind Mariana’s Special Cakes! I was born with Down syndrome, but that doesn’t stop me from doing the things I love, like dancing flamenco, crocheting, sewing, and of course… baking! Every day is a new adventure for me, and I love exploring different activities that let me be creative. I started baking cakes just for my family, and soon my friends began asking for them too. Before I knew it, I was baking for birthday parties and events! My cakes are special because they come from my heart. They show the world that I can do anything and that being different makes me shine. I hope you feel the love in every bite, because these cakes mean so much to me… and now, I get to share them with you!

Our Story

Mariana’s Special Cakes began 5 years ago, when Mariana, at 23, discovered a love for baking. What started as a simple hobby quickly became a family tradition; late nights in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes, and sharing our creations with those closest to us. Soon, friends and relatives began requesting our cakes, turning a small passion into something much greater.

Every cake we make is inspired by the flavors of our Mexican heritage, wether its rich Mexican chocolate, or cajeta and fresh fruits, each recipe is a reminder of where we come from. To us, these flavors are more than ingredients; they are symbols of culture, family, and celebration. Mariana’s hands bring joy to every layer, reminding us that a cake is never just a cake, it’s a story, a memory, and a piece of happiness meant to be shared.
